In memory of William Raymond, late of this parish, Esqr. who died 28th
of July 1729, aged 56 years.
Also in memory of Hester, daughter of John Tayer of this
parish, Gent, and relict of William Raymond, Esqr. She departed
this life, the 4th of April 1764. Aged 76 years.
Also of Anna the beloved Wife of John Cullimore, grandson of the said
Willm. Raymond she died 24th Dec. 1806 aged 56.

Sarah Tayer of Kington in this Parish, who departed this Life, January

And also here lyeth the Body of Sarah Osborne, daughter of the
above-said John Tayer, Gent, and Sarah his wife, who departed ye Life,
February the 27th 1749. Aged 71 years. |

William Till of the Park Farm Thornbury who died Dec. 15th 1888 and in
grateful remembrance of his gratuitous service as Trustee for the
daughters of the late William Jones of Rockhampton. This window
is dedicated and this monument inscribed in accordance with a request
of the late Amelia Jones of Edgbaston, the latest survivor in the
Trust. |

Sacred to the Memory of Anne Toll, spinster, daughter of Ashburnham
Toll Esqr., of Northampton, and Granddaughter of Ashburnham Toll Esqr,
of Graywell, in the County of Hants. She died at Clifton, in the
19th day of September 1824 in the 77th year of her age.
Her nephew Henry Wenman Newman caused this Tablet to be erected, as a
tribute to her virtues, and the humble memorial of his dutiful
affection. |

daughter of John Parker of the City of Bristol, Gent, who departed
this life Feb. ye 10th 1749. Aged 54 years.
Also Elizabeth, the daughter of Robert and Elizabeth Marsh who died
July ye 25, 1732. Aged 2 years. |

Arms: “Sable on a
fess Ermine between two lions passant guardant, impaling Gules, a
Cross Vair.
To the Memory of Sarah Tyler, who died Decr. 8 1779. Aged 57
years. She was the eldest daughter of Walter Tyler, Gent, by
Elizabeth his wife, who was one of the daughters of John Taylor, of
this parish, Gent.
Also to the Memory of Elizabeth Tyler, sister of the above named Sarah
Tyler, who died the 22 day of Febr. 1798. Aged 71. |

There was formerly a
raised Tomb of black marble which stood at the foot of the Altar, but
when the Chancel was repaired the Tomb was taken down and the slab let
into the floor with this Inscription on Brass and the figures of a man
and woman, Son and Daughter with an Inscription upon a scroll over
their heads but all gone except the Woman’s, at the four corners were
Coat of Arms, the only one remaining is at the right hand corner at
the bottom. Viz: “Argent on a fess gules, between three Garbs sable, a
martlet.

Crest: “A sinister Arm in Mail Or, hand proper, defended by an antique
shield of the first, lined vert, with straps gules”.
Motto: “Virtue et Scientia. (the author commented – I have been
informed that the last word should be ‘Sapiancia)’.
In memory of Samuel Tyson of Hope Farm in this parish, Gent who died
June 23rd 1740, aged 56 years.
Also Rachel Tyson, wife of the said Samuel Tyson, who died Febr. 6th
1745, aged 60 years.
Also Lawford Tyson, Gent., their eldest son, who died May 5th 1755,
aged 42 years. Who are all deposited in a vault beneath this Marble. |
