Anne Lewis, of Thornbury, who departed this life, the 27th day of

of Anne, wife of John Stone, who was buried in January the 21, Anno
Dom. 1691–2.
Also Here lyeth the Body of John, the son of Thomas Lewis, who
was buried the 6th day of April 1684.
Likewise Anne, the daughter of Thomas Lewis, who died the 28th day of
January Anno Dom. 1691-2.
And here lyeth the Body of Anne Lewis, the wife of Thomas Lewis, and
daughter of John and Anne Stone of this town, who departed this the
23rd of October 1742, in the 85th year of her age. |

Near this Place
Lies interr’d the Body of Thomas Linke, son of Thomas Linke, Gent, by
Mary his wife, who died March 27, 1752. Aged 27 years. He had a
heart capable of every social virtue. His conduct in Life was an
example to his cotemporaries, and his name, tho’ He was early
cut off will be bless’d by posterity.
Also the Body of Thomas Linke, Senr. of this Parish, Gent, who died
Jany. 13, 1759, aged 69.
Likewise the body of the said Mary Linke, who died the 10th day of
September 1769. Aged 82. |

Under this stone lyeth ye body of Susan, the wife of Joseph Wilcox,
Yeoman, and daughter of Thomas Linke, of Oldbury upon Seaverne,
Yeoman. She departed this life, January the 6, Anno Domini 1722,
aged 29 years.
Also in memory of Susan, the daughter of the abovesaid Joseph and
Susanna Wilcox, of this parish, who departed this life, January the
19, Anno Dom. 1722. Aged …. Weeks. |

life, the 11 day of March 1694, aged 36 years.
Also Here lyeth the Body of Susanna, the wife of the abovesaid Thomas
Linke of Oldbury, who departed this life, the 4th day of January Ann.
Dom. 1726, aged 66 years.
And also under this stone lieth the body of Thomas Linke, ye son of
Thomas and Mary Linke of Oldbury, and grandson of the abovesaid Thomas
and Susanna Linke, who departed this Life, ye 27th day of March 1752.

Senior, of this parish, Gent, who departed this life the 13th day of
January 1759, aged 69.
And also Richard Linke, buried April the 25th A.D. 1692. Aged 52

15, 1727-8. Aged one year and 9 months.
Also Sarah, their daughter, died October 3, 1729. Aged 5 months
and one week.

Oldbury in this Parish, who died September the 9th 1760, aged 6 years

In loving memory
Charlotte Caroline Georgiana, eldest daughter of Henry Lawes and Lady
Catherine Long and wife of Henry Howard of Greystoke Castle,
Cumberland and of Thornbury Castle Gloucestershire born at Hampton
Lodge in Surrey April 23rd 1823. Died at Ravenstone near Keswick July
24th 1896. This tablet is placed here by her six children.
“Ye are come unto Mount Sion and unto the City of the Living God, the
Heavenly Jerusalem and to an enumerable Company of angels. And
to the God the Judge of All and to the Spirits of Just Men made
perfect to Jesus the mediator of the Covenant” Hebrews Xll:23-24. |

Arms: “argent, a
chevron sable between three mullets Gules, Willis, impaling Azure a
Griffin segrant per fess Argent and Or, within a border engrailed
Ermine, Walker “. (Atchmant against South Wall, the same Arms Crest
and Mottto).
Under this Stone lies ye Remains of the Revd. Thomas Willis, Batchelor
of Physick, who was Vicar of this Parish twenty years and Rector of
Rockhampton about seven years. Married with Ann Walker,
granddaughter to Thomas Lushington, of Sittingborn in Kent, by
whome He had three sons, who all lie buried in this Vestry. He
was grandson to William Beaw, Lord Bishop of Landaff, first cousin to
John, Lord Arundel, at whose death the Parish and all the poor, have
just reason to lament. He departed this Life, 26 June 1748.
